Restaurant Report: April 21-24, 2026

This week’s Tipton County health inspections had some highs and some lows.
Pizza Hut in Covington earned a perfect 100!
We did have three restaurants that required follow-up inspections.
Pizza Hut in Atoka started with a 97 and earned a 99 on their follow-up.
Wendy’s scored an 85 on their routine inspection because the inspector observed employees taking out the trash, then getting back to food without washing their hands in between, among other violations.
Olympic in Atoka earned a 76 due to improper cooling procedures, which also resulted in the confiscation of 50 pounds of marinara sauce.
We have a slide with details for each establishment inspected, including two tattoo establishment inspections. (One of those is not a tattoo shop, but they did receive a tattoo establishment inspection, which is why it was reported in that manner.)

We want you to be able to make informed choices about where you eat. So every week, Paper Folds goes through health inspection records from the Tennessee Department of Health and publishes scores and violations for every establishment inspected in Tipton County β€” restaurants, food trucks, tattoo studios, and more.
The reports are public record and easy enough to find, but who wants to wade through them? We do it so you don’t have to.
All scores and violation details are sourced directly from inspection reports filed by the Tennessee Department of Health and are public record.
Inspection scores reflect conditions at the time of inspection only.
Paper Folds reports this information as a public service and makes no independent assessment of any establishment’s safety or quality.
