Monday, July 20
The Munford Municipal Planning Commission holds a special-called meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Munford City Board Room, 70 College St. The commission called the meeting to consider a subdivision of lots at Adkins Circle requested by Hayden Edmonson. Residents are invited to appear and be heard in favor of or in objection to the request.
At 6 p.m., the Atoka Municipal-Regional Planning Commission meets at Town Hall, 334 Atoka-Munford Ave. Its posted agenda includes a revised site plan for Comcast, sign permits for Oy Vey Bagels, ABC Fence and Park National Bank, and a proposed amendment to Article 6, Section 12 of the town’s zoning ordinance governing the sign approval process. No old business is listed.
The Mason Board of Mayor and Aldermen meets at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 12157 Main St. Its posted agenda includes a request to transfer two accounts — a money market account with $41,812.36 and a capital CC account with $50,618.64 — into the town’s general fund, along with requests to authorize the sale of surplus Fire Department items to the highest bidder and to gift out-of-date Fire Department equipment to other departments once inventory lists are finalized. The Tipton County Commission’s July meeting, originally set for July 13, has been moved to Monday, July 27, at 6 p.m. at the Justice Complex, 1801 S. The county’s Planning Commission also meets July 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Justice Center, and the county’s Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for the same day but has been canceled. The Munford Board of Mayor and Aldermen meets Monday, July 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Courtroom, 70 College St.
