Tipton To-Do List: May 22-24, 2026

It’s Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer, and we’ve got just a few things happening this weekend!

We have rain in the forecast, so make sure you check to see if the event will continue as planned before you head out.

Here’s what we’ve got going on:

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is hosting an in-person boating safety class at Brighton High School, taught by a certified instructor and capped off with an official Tennessee boating exam. It’s a great way to hit the water legally and confidently this summer. Just remember you must bring a pencil and your Type 600 boating permit, and you must be at least 12 years old to test.

Directed by Amy Settle with Jr. Director Julia Bogard and music directed by Andrew and Kristen Staheli, this production promises to be a magical night out for the whole family. Tickets are available through the Tipton Arts Council, so don’t wait. Runs like this tend to sell out.
