CHS to present Wizard of Oz

Covington High School will take the stage next week to present the school’s first theatrical production, The Wizard of Oz.

Ericka Perez will star as Dorothy, joined by Kinslee Hamm as the Scarecrow, Dylan Newman as the Tin Man and LaDarrius Rudd as the Lion. Rudd also serves as chief choreographer for the production.

The show is directed by Brandi Hamm, with Lily Latham as assistant director and Stephen St. Clair as music director. Choreography is also led by Mylan Dawson and Kalyiah Robinson, with sound design by Mario Hayslett.

The show will run April 27–30 at 6 p.m. each night in the school auditorium.

Tickets are $10 and can be preordered at Covington High School or purchased at the door. A taco bar will be available before each performance.

The production will be held at Covington High School in Covington.
